On Saturday, May 30th, the 1st Nebraska played for the folks attending the 4th Annual Valley Veterans BBQ. There was quite a festive atmosphere in City Park with kids climbing all over the playground equipment, batters hitting home runs in the batting cages, people sampling the food vendors wares, and some good old fashioned band concert in the park music.
1st Nebraska set up in a shaded pavilion set among several mature maple and oak trees. Some people came close to stand and listen to us play, while others, thanks to our sound system, could enjoy the music from picnic tables at the other end of the park.
Following our performance we took the opportunity to shoot some photos of the band in the beauty of nature.
